A widely popular social sharing application brought to the US market by Bytedance Holdings. This application has recently been completely re-branded as TikTok. The platform allows users to create 15-second to 1-minute videos in one or multiple shots, to lip-sync to sounds or engage with comedy, and provides many other features.
Our goal was to attract a high volume of users at a competitive user acquisition cost. We expected to maintain a 33% Day 1 Retention Rate across all platforms.
During our work on this project, we tested over 1,800 creatives, with the majority being videos. These were created for 30 different approaches and more than 17 different strategies for audience formation.
We were able to drive over 1 million installs across both IOS and Android for Tik Tok.
